Wireshark Antivirus: on the hunt for your hard earned money!

Posted by Denny under Rogue Anti-Spyware

Never will a day go by when rogue antispyware has not scored a goal for its nefarious team – hailing a triumph over computer security and safety – but all is not yet lost! All one needs do to ensure the malicious side of this computer safety war does not win another single battle – is to equip ourselves with knowledge regarding these malware applications – and accordingly guard against them!

The newest edition to this rogue antispyware team is none other than: Wireshark Antivirus. This particular malware was designed to dupe unsuspecting PC users purchasing the full version of this nefarious application, and so doing part with their hard earned money!

Wireshark Antivirus, also known as WiresharkAntivirus, is considered highly dangerous to any system it has infiltrated, and experts suggest the immediate purging of its components from any system it has embedded itself within.

Wireshark Antivirus is a menace and will only secure the aims of its designers – it will do what it takes to ensure its sole aim of gaining money from users unaware of the plot to scam and compromise the integrity of their computer system, is successfully carried out.

Wireshark Antivirus is capable and highly likely to create hundreds of fake malware entities in the infected system. Once this is done, Wireshark Antivirus will then “detect” these dummy files as malware and will ensure the unsuspecting user think that it’s time to remove all the ‘reported’ malware.

Important to bear in mind: all of these tactics employed by Wireshark Antivirus is just that – a tactic – and none of what Wireshark Antivirus reports to you is in fact true – it is all part of its elaborate scam.

Wireshark Antivirus acts typically and makes use of well practiced tactics utilized by PC parasites. Once installed on a system, via the help of its affiliated backdoor Trojan infections, usually Trojan Vundo or Trojan Zlob, Wireshark Antivirus tends to ensure it remains hidden within the targeted machine and will attempt to maintain its course of infiltration and further compromising is successful.

Wireshark Antivirus’ malicious trialware usually runs each time you log onto Windows and will display its fake system scanner that claims to find a variety of corrupted dangerous files.

As a well-practiced modus operandi, Wireshark Antivirus will have you believe that in order to protect your Operating System against these “detections”, you will be prompted to Wireshark Antivirus’ full commercial version which demands payment.

If you do install Wireshark Antivirus licensed software, you will soon realize that it’s not only worthless in terms of malware removal, but it compromises any computer systems’ performance and will eventually slow down the computer considerably.

It is therefore highly advised to remove the Wireshark Antivirus rogue anti-spyware application as soon as it has been detected on a computer system.

I would suggest that a PC user that has found themselves in this predicament, of having Wireshark Antivirus embedded within their system, should make use of a reliable and legitimate, fully functional, up-to-date anti-spyware application, to remove Wireshark Antivirus and all its components from the infected computer system.
