Vitriolic attack of Home Security Solutions destroying PCs

For a while PC owners only needed to be wary about obvious threats to their PCs’ health, but thanks to Home Security Solutions and similar threats now seemingly safe security tools are also subject. Home Security Solutions is a rogue security application designed to only rip you off. While it does a great job seeming legitimate by using genuine Microsoft graphics and icons in its GUIs, Home Security Solutions certainly does not have the ability to detect or remove any type of threat from the system.

Once the rogue gains entry it generates a false PC scan which will claim that the user’s PC is infected with serious security threats.Home Security Solutions will create the very files it claims are infections, such as kernel32.exe, kernel32.tmp and pal.exe.

Shortly after the fake scan completes, the user will start receiving bogus security notifications like the following:

Scan Result: Your computer is infected!
Recommended: click “Remove All” button to erase all infected files and protect your PC

These fake security alerts will continue to badger the user until he decides to get rid of Home Security Solutions. Other symptoms associated with this vicious rogue include users being unable to establish an internet connection, as well as increased erratic system behavior and poor system performance.
