Trojan.Mespam is a Trojan. Trojan.Mespam spreads via spam email and instant messenger connections. It installs when you open up a sent image or a link. Once inside your PC, it will embed itself into your computer as a Layered Service Provider (LSP). Then Trojan.Mespam usually connects to the Internet and retrieves a spam message from its parent servers. Trojan.Mespam will then spam this message through any open AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk, and Yahoo! Messenger windows that it can find. Trojan.Mespam will also attempt to propagate itself through emails sent via certain webmail services, and may also inject the spam message into forum postings.
