SysSecuritySite is a malicious Trojan which embeds itself into your system as a Browser Helper Object and then proceeds to hijack your browsers home and search pages. This program may also display fake “warning” messages as popup browser windows, as well as from the task bar. SysSecuritySite promotes fake anti-spyware (Rogue Anti-Spyware) products, such as SpyGuard, PestWiper, SpyAxe, MalwareWipe, and Adware Punisher, SpyHeal, SpywareStrike.
