Witnessing the release of Spyware Quake 2.1, Spyware Quake is now one of the most distained and download Rogue Anti-Spyware applications. Spyware Quake is a hybrid of its clone and predecessor SpyAxe, SpywareStrike and SpyFalcon. Spyware Quake can be identified for its fake Windows security warnings (see left). Spyware Quake looks like a legitimate application catering to the removal of Spyware. In reality Spyware Quake is embedded by a Trojan where it installs displaying false security messages in order to lure you into purchasing.
