SafeSurfing is a known spyware application that installs in computer systems without any user consent. Once installed in a computer, SafeSurfing will deliver numerous amount of unwanted pop-up ads and pop-unders in users’ browsers. SafeSurfing poses as a threat to users’ privacy and security for it notoriously monitors all online and computer activities of users. SafeSurfing also logs all keywords from users’ web searches then redirects searches to various unnecessary websites.
