Aurora.DSrch is a known parasite variant of Zquest. Also called as DrSearch, Aurora.DSrch notoriously floods users’ browsers with numerous pop-up ads and other annoying online advertisements. Once Aurora.DSrch infiltrates computer systems, it will track users’ Internet surfing habits and computer activities. Recorded data and information will then be transmitted to a parent server for marketing and advertising purposes. Aside from displaying numerous online ads and tracking users’ personal records or data, Aurora.DSrch can also replace advertising and marketing contexts in users’ web browsers.
